![]() This is a feature planned for the next Audacity release. The new effects do not yet support import / export of custom curves. Hopefully this will be fixed in a later version of Audacity, though no fix exists yet. This is because the Effects Manager is not yet able to clean out the listing of old effects that no longer exist. When Audacity 2.3.3 is updating an older version of Audacity, the old Equalization effect will still be listed in the Effects Manager. The effects have also been simplified by replacing some options with fixed optimal values. ![]() The new effects fix all known bugs that were in the old effect, including the crash bug when using the effect in Macros, the crash bug when deleting "unnamed", incorrect settings bug, and the disappearing control point bug. Note that in the new effects, the preset curves are now accessed via the "Manage" button, in "Factory Presets". The old Equalization effect is no longer available. Graphic EQ: A graphic equalizer, similar to the "Graphic" mode in the old Equalization effect.Filter Curve: An FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) filter, similar to "Draw" mode in the old Equalization effect.In Audacity 2.3.3, the Equalization effect has been replaced by two new effects:
